Tailormade: your arena, your wish!
Our arenas are tailormade. We always start off from a good design that is tailored to your horses’ needs, your specific desires and the local weather conditions. From assorted sand mixtures, technology and eco-friendly additives to a wide variety of colours (white, beige, yellow, grey, brown …); the options are endless! Thanks to our years of experience, we know exactly what ingredients to add to optimise your riding fun and the wellbeing of your horses. We listen, advise and adjust until we come to the ideal solution for your arena.
Additives: for ultimate riding comfort
For the perfect stability, grip, cushioning, moisture regulation, durability … every horse arena needs that little extra. That is why we always offer different types of additives, such as geotextile (for instance, Geopad), fibres and carpet footing to lift your arena to the next level. Moreover, our additives always have the required certificates – an important must with regard to quality, safety and even regulation!
Do you only need a specific additive? This can be ordered separately as well. We have everything in stock so we are able to deliver quickly. Or you are free to come and pick up your order yourself, exactly when you need it.
Water Management
It is of vital importance to ‘bulletproof’ your arena in order for it to conquer excessive waterfall or extreme drought. At Poels, we offer a variety of options, which we’ll list for your convenience.
Arena Drainage
A drainage system will ensure that your arena is never too wet, something that is essential for your riding comfort as well as for your horses’ health. Drained arenas are equipped with an irrigation system which provides water from the top. This might seem simple but the options are endless. For instance, we can design the ideal system for every arena and every specific customer. Our experts are at your disposal to give you the detailed information and expert advice you need.
Ebb and Flow Arena
The ebb and flow system is an advanced water management mechanism that controls water from underneath in order to adjust the moisture content of the arena. If the arena is too wet, you lower the water level in order to drop the moisture content. If the arena, however, is too dry, you can increase the water level, resulting in a higher moisture level. Once you’ve found your arena’s perfect set-up, it will regulate on its own in rainy or dry conditions.
This system gives you full control of your arena, allowing you to create optimal riding conditions under all circumstances. We at Poels take care of the entire process: from purchase to installation of the ebb and flow system.
