With our tracks, we have been making this dream a reality for many years. And this both for professionals and hobby horse owners.
Tailormade: your arena, your wish!
Our slopes are custom designed. We always start with a good design, tailored to your horses, your specific wishes and the local weather conditions. From different sand mixtures, techniques and green additives to the most diverse colors (white, cream, yellow, gray, brown,…): the possibilities are endless! Thanks to our years of experience, we know exactly which ingredients to add to optimize your riding pleasure and the well-being of your horses. We listen, advise and adjust until we find the ideal solution for your arena.
Additives: for ultimate riding comfort
For the perfect stability, grip, cushioning, moisture regulation, durability, … a horse track often needs that little bit extra. That is why we always have various additives such as geotextiles (e.g. Geopad), fibers and carpet chips ready to take your track to the next level. Our additives always have the necessary certificates, a very important must for quality, safety and even regulations!
Do you only need specific additives? Then you can also get these separately from us. We have everything in stock so we can deliver quickly. Of course, you can also pick up your order yourself, exactly when you need it.
Water Management
Making your piste “bullet proof” to withstand excess water or extremely dry weather is critical. At Poels, we have several options for this. We list the options.
Arena Drainage
With a drainage system, you ensure that your track is never too wet, which is essential for both your riding comfort and the health of your horses. Drained slopes are fitted with a watering system, meaning they are watered from above. It seems simple, but the options are endless. So we can design the ideal system for every arena and customer. Our experts are ready to provide you with detailed information and advice.
Ebb and Flow Arena
The ebb and flow system is an advanced water management mechanism that regulates water from below to adjust the humidity of the slope. If your slope is too wet, you can lower the water level to lower the humidity. If your piste is too dry, you can raise the water level to increase the humidity. Once you’ve found the ideal setting for your slope, it will regulate itself as it rains and dries.
With this system, you have full control over the humidity of your track, allowing you to always create optimal riding conditions. At Poels, we take care of the entire process, from purchase to installation of the ebb and flow system.
