CSI-W 5* Jumping Mechelen (BEL)

Every year, this event feels special for Poels because we have been involved in this event from the very first years, and it always feels like a home game.

Jumping Mechelen is organised by friends, each with their own expertise but with a shared passion. As Poels team, we are proud of the close collaboration with this esteemed event.

Besides providing the special sand mixture that allows for direct performances we are also responsible for the construction and maintenance of two arenas and paddocks. The sand used at Jumping Mechelen is kept and reused year after year, giving the ‘Mechelen sand’ a treasured meaning.

Every year, this period between Christmas and New Year’s is circled in red in our calendars. That’s no wonder, because this event is the most important event for every (Belgian) horse fanatic. It hosts no less than three world cups! Jumping, Dressage and Driving, with on top of that the FEI Jumping Ponies’ Trophy where the ponies get to battle for a prize. And all of that, year after year, on that same Poels sand.
